We have only positive things about staying in the house and the neighborhood. The house had everything we needed for an extended stay. It's also located in a wonderful area, the historic North Encinitas neighborhood, filled with Arts and Crafts-style homes. From the house, it's a short walk to downtown Monrovia, with grocery stores and plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as a movie theater complex. The house was also very close to beautiful hiking trails. We have to add that the property manager, Jason, was incredibly responsive, including by helping out in person, when we had questions about the grill and a couple of other house-related topics. We highly recommend the house and the property manager.

The house and neighborhood are very nice, great for walking and admiring the amazing older "estates" and the many outdoor holiday light displays. Very quiet except for the parrots & garbage day . . . haha. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our Christmas holiday with our Southern California family, including our very active 3-year-old twin granddaughters. We took advantage of the Metro Link which was so convenient to explore beyond Monrovia, and wowed the girls will a trip to Disney on Ice also not too far away!
