First the Good. If you have a car it's awesome. Easy highway access and plenty of workarounds for the hellscape that is I-95. Great neighborhood. Quiet, safe, grocery shopping within waking distance. The host, Sara is awesome. Very responsive and helpful. A high quality person. Now the Not So Good. Although Quiet Time is 11p-7a it doesn't always happen. So getting adequate sleep has been challenging to say the least. The floors and stairs are creaky and so any other guests walking around can be quite jarring. And one of the guests has late night phone conversations at times which can be disturbing as well The noise/disturbance issue is not unique to this listing. It's actually why I have left some other Airbnb listings. Having said that the room is small but adequate if you are traveling light. And the half bath is clutch. For the price I believe it's a decent value. If it were not for the sleep situation I really would have no dissatisfaction. Overall I recommend it. Especially for the neighborhood which I really like. And Sara who is a great host.

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The room was great. Sara is a wonderful host. She’s very quick to respond and always helpful. You can tell she truly cares for her guests. I spent the summer here while interning. Sara made sure I knew how to get to the bus stop and helped me figure out my commute since I was brand new to nova. This place quickly felt like home. There was one day where the water stopped working and Sara immediately called me to notify me while I was out and kept in contact until it was resolved in only a few hours. The room is great. You have a closet and your own bathroom. There is a shared shower upstairs. The room is located on the main floor right next to the living room, which leads to the kitchen and dining room. All the guests mainly stay in their rooms so the house is pretty quiet. There’s a couch and dining table but no one uses them that much. The location of the house is great. You’re ~10 min walk from a Giant grocery store, several restaurants, and the bus stop. Going into the city takes about an hour and a half - take the bus to the metro station, then ride the blue line into DC. This is a great room for long term stays. There is room in the kitchen to bring your own dishes/pans/etc and cabinet/fridge/freezer space. A huge thank you to Sara for her kindness, responsiveness, and hospitality.
