Elizabeth and her family were lovely and her place matched the photos and description provided however I ended up having a really unpleasant stay due a couple of her existing tenants who were quite rude, unpleasant and made me feel extremely unwelcome and I had to cut my trip short by a week. Elizabeth was quite helpful and refunded me the balance of the money but I was still out of pocket for the airbnb fee for which they refused to refund hence I has to file a claim with my credit card issuer. The place has issues including the toilet being separate from the bathroom which makes washing your hands annoying, the kitchen not having an oven or a freezer and the fridge being a mini fridge with one compartment, Basic cooking utensils weren't provided, the washing machine needing a pound coin to start and the inner lining filled with mold, it was cold in the (large) room even in spring etc. It has a lot of issues that tend to add up which wasn't worth the hassle for a longer term stay.

The place was tidy and neat, however there were no toilet paper and hand soap available, I had to get them myself. Additionally, the heating was low the whole time and it was very cold in the room. There was also a note on the bathroom door that asked to not use the shower after 10 pm which is quite odd. I don't think the price was worth for what was offered.

Elizabeth is friendly, responsive and helpful. Airbnb room is on first floor on the family house. There are some other guest staying and kitchen and bathroom can get crowded so prepare to wait. Rooms and house could do with a little bit of tlc but it’s ok if you stay others for a bit. Short walk to a bus, 15mins to a tube.

Loved my stay at Elizabeth's - the park opposite with the tennis courts was really lovely and the south facing windows means lots of gorgeous morning light. The room was really cosy as it was January when I stayed, the shower hot and everything one would need in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again. Big thanks to Elizabeth and family!

Elizabeth was a great host who was very friendly and understanding. She helped however she could and responded in a reasonable amount of time. Good place to stay if you’re a solo traveler.
