The guest cottage located in the historic Cobbham neighborhood, and is close to everything in Athens. Just a 15 minute walk to downtown or the Normal town bars and restaurants, and a mile to the UGA Arch. There is free on-site parking with a dedicated driveway and parking area for those who want drive. The guest house was originally built in the 1880s as an office for the dentist who built the house next door. It was remodeled into a family home in the early 20th century and has been update over the years without losing its original charm. It is a quiet, clean space where guests can enjoy themselves. The larger bedroom is generally set up with up with one king sized bed, but we can add a queen sized bed to the room on request.

Great location and stay for graduation weekend!! The home was very charming and historic inside, and we loved the tall windows that let in a lot of natural light! The bedrooms were nicely decorated and very spacious. The house was spotless and the kitchen came stocked with lots of pots and pans which were very useful. The hosts directions were very well thought out and helpful when it came to locating the property and checking in. Thank you so much for hosting our stay!!
Nice immediate surroundings, super clean, walkable to downtown, overall a solid spot!
It was a great place to stay over the weekend, and very convenient to everything UGA: 3 min from my daughter’s sorority house on Milledge, and 5 min from downtown. We enjoyed the front porch with rocking chairs, and the super comfortable beds. The old farmhouse had lots of great character, was decorated very simply, and had lots of good surface area for our stuff in bedrooms and bathroom. We mostly gathered at the kitchen table and on the porch. Access to the house was super easy and the house is in a great area. Very safe.
This rental is in a very pretty and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had all the cookware we needed, the bathroom was well-stocked with shampoo, soap, and extra towels and the beds were super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
Perfect spot to explore Athens. Walked to many places and a short drive to the rest. The house had plenty of room to relax after a busy day.

The Cobbham neighborhood is a historic neighborhood in Athens west of down town and east of Normaltown.
This is a great neighborhood for walking, but also an easy neighborhood to drive in and out of. There are also lots of parking options here as well.
