The home was nice. There was just a lot of little things that I thought were a bit Tedious. Just reading about this listing is way too confusing. I had understood the payment arrangement incorrectly. They have information that does not even apply with Airbnb. In the listing I had understood that we could make a deposit and make the rest of the payment the day of our trip. But that was not the case, I ended up having to make the full payment a week after the deposit payment. It was just disappointing, because we were not expecting to pay everything so quickly, and I had booked this place in advance so that our guest and ourselves would have time to save the money to finish making the payment. Airbnb nor the host could help out with the situation. In the listing it states that the payment could be payed off the day of the trip. But it’s really confusing because the information they have about the listing some details only apply if you’re booking from them directly and not from Airbnb. So I think they should really make all the information very clear and not so confusing and long. With previous Trips I’ve made with Airbnb, the pet fee is either already added to the expense, or there is no additional cost because they’re stated as pet friendly homes. You must read the fine print, but there’s just so many details that it’s unrealistic to be able to remember all of these little things. It was disappointing to find out it’s a $35 fee per pet the day of our trip. & then the rental agreement that you have to sign, it’s just so much to read. It’s a little to much, it’s understandable. But the awesome thing that I’ve always enjoyed about Booking with Airbnb is how easy it’s always been. That is not the case with this listing. On another note, We were there celebrating mine and my husbands anniversary, we’re there to relax and have a good time with friends, and next thing you know there is a police officer asking us to quiet down. It was pretty lame, we were there to have a good time and unwind, so having to worry about being too loud was unfortunate. But we all thought it was understandable about the quiet time, it was just an annoyance to have to quiet down at 10pm. We also had an issue with the Hot Tub, during the night while everyone was inside, we started to notice water leaking from the ceiling in the downstairs bedroom, and when we went to Investigate what was going on, it had been the result of the hot tub draining. I have no idea how it happened. It happened our last night there. When I reached out to the host about it the next day, I never heard back. It had still weighed down on my mind, because I was worried about it, so I decided to call the office number they provide, I left a voicemail and still have not heard back from the host. I know it’s just a business, but it feels bad when you’re not acknowledge once the check is paid. You think this review is long, wait until you have to read about their listing and rental agreement. At the end of the day, we still really enjoyed ourselves. Just wanted to give my honest opinion about our stay.

nice location in the woods, close neighbors, deer will come.right up to you. awesome experience. close to town, but I would make sure they fix up a few things. we went at end of March and Xmas was still up, broken chairs, broken bbq pit,not spring ready. worth the stay not the money.

Very spacious, cozy and fun! It’s a quiet neighborhood, which was perfect, with friendly deer that would come by often to say hello :) everything worked great, beds were comfortable and cabin was warm. The hot tub and pool table were a bonus!
