Unfortunately we were only around for a short time due to having a jam packed weekend for a wedding. But there was a potential for an amazing weekend away if we had more time. It was great to wake up to the bird in the trees and the cool weather. I'm really looking forward to going back and saying for a longer duration and enjoying all the recommendations the hosts offered we love the hinterland of the gold coast and this place is perfect to being central to explore with out having to travel to far out of the way. 100% recommend and 100% will be looking at staying here again .

nice isolated place to relax. the 3rd bedroom at the top was a bit dusty with wood dust over the bed.

We spent Christmas in the chalet, which was nicely decorated for the holiday season. We loved the little Christmas attentions. Excellent location with short drives to Springbrook or Gold Coast, very private with views on the bush, a beautiful place for bird watching (we spent hours observing - and being observed by - very curious Australian King parrots 😊). Tait and Caroline had great recommendations for activities and food around the area. Would love to come back again to escape the busy city for a weekend :-)
