Joy's cabin in the rainforest was the perfect retreat; beautifully clean, private and secluded and filled with birdsong. Joy and her husband were great hosts, welcoming on arrival, and going out of their way to help, including clearing a forest walking trail through the beautiful forest paths. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking nature, seclusion and peace.

We loved Joy’s place; secluded and peaceful. Even though the listing shows no WiFi, Joy messaged before accepting the booking to double check we were aware and were happy with this. Joy came and met us when we arrived and showed us around, directed us to maps for local walks and brought spare bedding for us to make up the sofa bed in the living room. She was very open with her airbnb and said we could help ourselves to whatever we needed, and gave us some great recommendations for food locally. Would definitely recommend!

Joy is a wonderful host, and the house itself is beautiful. This is a very special location - peaceful, healing, just stunning. We decided to stay am extra night as our kids were so calm and happy there. Thankyou so much Joy, we would love to return oneday.

The house has everything you need for a short vacation. It's located in a quiet and peaceful forest, so you won't be interrupted by anyone or anything. Firewood was provided, and I had a great time sitting in front of the campfire, just lost in thought.
