Pre-check in:
We welcome guests arriving prior to the 4pm check-in time. Any time after Noon, guests may complete pre-check in paperwork, unload bags, and have their car parked by the valet service. When the room is ready, the resort will call the guest’s cell phone. Pre-check in helps avoid the long waits for check in and valet service typical at 4pm.

Parking:
Off-site valet parking. Cost: $30 per night for guests. Free if owner/guest has handicap plate and/or sticker. One vehicle per reservation. No trailers, RV’s, motorcycles, or oversized vehicles allowed. Owners and guests may self park in the city public parking garage located at 1 Cumberland St. for a flat daily rate of $18/day. This rate applies from 6am-midnight. After midnight a rate a $1/half hour beings. The city public parking garage can be reached at (843) 805-3232. The resort is not responsible for any damages to vehicles while in the public parking garage.

Upon check-in, each reservation requires a major credit card for a $100 Pre-Authorization.
Other notes:
We cannot guarantee unit placement. Due to the historic nature of the buildings, floor plans and exact sizes will vary among rooms and suites. While The Lodge Alley Inn does not offer daily maid service, complimentary towel exchange is available for guests staying less than 7 days. For guests staying 7 days or more, a complimentary mid-week cleaning service is provided. The Lodge Alley Inn is located in the heart of Downtown Charleston. Due to the urban location of the resort, guests may expect to hear city or street noise from guest rooms. The resort has white noise machines, ear plugs, and box fans available on request to help ease city, street and traffic noise.
