The casita is a tranquil spot, cozy and clean. We enjoyed watching hummingbirds in the garden. It’s a beautiful sanctuary with views of the mountain. Great for enjoying coffee or wine. We found a bakery, many fruit and vegetable stands and a Tia market all in walking distance on our first day. It’s easy to Uber or bus to the popular attractions farther south in the city.

Pasamos cuatro semanas aquí y disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia. La casita es lindissima y el jardín es precioso, y la hospitalidad es insuperable, así que nos sentimos muy cómodos y como en casa. El anfitrión es super amable, atento y servicial en todo. El alojamiento es muy recomendable si no quieres quedarte en el centro de Quito (downtown) sino en un típico Barrio Quiteño. Excelente en todo!!!

Beautiful, safe, quiet, private and very clean place. We’ve traveled to Quito many times and this place and host are now our favorite. Martin, Marga and Carlos are very attentive and quick to respond before and during our stay. Although taxi and Uber service is plentiful, they arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport after midnight arrival. Very comfortable bed and furniture. Kitchen have everything we needed. Peaceful beautiful gardens with songbirds and hummingbirds. Excellent WiFi internet connection for the times I needed to connect with the office and clients. Definitely will stay at this casita in our future visits to Quito.

Martin's La Casita is a great private abode away from Quito's hustle and bustle, yet close enough for a quick Uber ride to any desired destination. The bed is clean and comfortable although climbing the stairs to the loft bedroom must be done with care. Some grocery and other shops are walking distance, and the private grounds and mountain views are great. Martin and Carla are friendly and wonderful hosts.

Our stay at the Casita was ideal for our month long stay in Quito. We felt safe and at home. Martin and his family are very kind and helpful with anything we needed, such as a private driver and other local recommendations. On a few occasions we had some delicious home cooked meals by Marga and we enjoyed the invitations to eat with them inside their own home next door too. We also enjoyed cooking in our own well equipped kitchen, and anything we ever needed we were able to borrow from their own house. The mattress was extra comfortable and we loved the cozy bedroom loft. Hot water and wifi worked well throughout our stay, and the projector was a nice added touch. The laundry machine and dry line was easy to access. We especially loved the beautiful garden that surrounds the Casita and we were able to use the fire pit a few times. We highly recommend staying at the Casita and we will certainly stay here again next time!
