Debbies place was the perfect location for our trip to KC. You are only a short distance from downtown but the Overland Park neighborhood has so much right next door to offer as well! Debbie gave clear instructions and made us feel right at home. You don’t even know she’s right downstairs. Space was perfect for the 2 of us . Bed was firm which we loved. Shower is tight but with the removable shower head you don’t even really notice. Having access to the TV made unwinding in the evening that much cozier. The backyard is inviting and we sat out on the back deck a couple nights. Great value especially for the area. Only “issue” we had was a slight smoke smell as you walk up the stairs but it isn’t in the main living space of our room so I really didn’t notice other than when you walk in. I noticed another review mentioned that but I barely noticed. Debbie was great and we hope to return to stay in KC and stay there again

If you are a large person, this might not work well for you. But if you want a clean, quiet, cute, great neighborhood and unbelievably low price this is awesome.

The leaning chimney loft was fantastic. The location is in a nice, safe Overland Park neighborhood with a lovely park basically a block away. The space was very clean and had everything I needed. The neighborhood was quiet at night and I slept very comfortably. I did not see Debbie throughout my stay, given how private both the entrance and the loft itself are, but she was a great host and very responsive to questions. I liked it here so much that I was hoping to stay with Debbie again in May, but I clearly did plan enough in advance because it’s already booked! My advice- if Debbie‘s place is open for the dates you’re looking for, go ahead and book! It will go quickly.
