Del is far and away the best host I’ve ever had on Airbnb. Staying here is like coming to visit family. She brought over toys and art supplies for my kids, delivered sparkling wine for new years, and offered us a late check out due to our late evening flight and my toddler needing a place to nap. She’s a real “host” in the spirit of how Airbnb started years ago. The house is great for families. The three bedrooms are good sized and living space is comfortable. The real treat is the yard—the chickens and cats and the places for kids to play outside. The porch is fantastic. The location is also incredibly convenient while being a quiet spot in the woods. If you’re looking for a hotel substitute, this probably isn’t the space for you (there is, after all, a rooster). But if you’re looking for all the comfort and friendliness of staying with family without the family drama and squishing too many people in too few rooms, Del and her place are perfect! We will definitely be back.

Second year we have stayed here over Christmas. Loved the area and the house. Our dogs loved it too.

Cute house in the woods but close enough to everything!
