Loved the location. House was well equipped and lots of outdoor/lake equipment. Very clean and peaceful. Was great for the grandchildren ages 6 & 8. And the adults loved it. Will go back again.

We had a great stay on Embden Pond. Christy has a beautiful spot right on the water. Embden Pond is very clean and quiet. we enjoyed our days out on the water and evenings making dinner on the grill on the deck and making smores outside over the fire. the kitchen had everything you could need to feel at home. The house is spotless and modern and the beds very comfortable. Hoping to stay again next summer

Unfortunately it rained and was cool 5 out of the 7 days we were there so we were forced to venture out. We spent a lot of time driving as there was not a lot to do in the immediate area. We were able to enjoy a few days at the house and enjoyed using both the kayaks and paddle boards. The lake was very peaceful, however the dock ended up being submerged due to all the rain. We enjoyed being able to grill and dine at home, which isn’t something we typically do on vacation. If you are interested in seeing a moose we were lucky enough to see one near Baxter state Park.

This place is a gem!! Definitely coming back! The location on the water was great with a beautiful view of the crystal clear water, mountains, sunrise and sunset and a lovely peacefulness with birds, loons and the soft lull of the water over the nearby dam. The camp had everything we needed and some! Our family enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks (the public beach was just over in the next cove and easy to paddle or walk to with the kids!), swimming, games, movie nights and a lot of relaxing! The whole place was very clean, COZY, comfortable beds, natural light, private and just felt incredible tranquility while there. Also highly recommend eating at The Kennebec Cafe which is just a short drive for amazing food and a deck with seating that overlooks the river. We didn’t venture far to see any local spots because we didn’t want to leave!! Thank you to our hosts for sharing this slice of heaven with our family! Can’t wait for more memories made here in the future! Thank you!!!

Host is very friendly and responsive. They let us check-in early. The house is very nice and clean, beautiful surroundings.
