Our friends from out of town stayed for a long weekend. They LOVED the bed and the sheets and want to get some for home. Everything they needed was there. Very happy.

So I write this knowing that 1) the place is affordable, 2) some of the information I wasn't aware of is located within the posting. The check-in info emailed prior does not include the fact that the "home" is located behind the main house, and access is through a side gate. I arrived at night in the rain. There is very poor internet service and I could not view the Airbnb listing. The side gate access is not labeled, there were no lights along the side of the main house, path through deep puddles and no roof/shelter from the rain. A horrible and scary experience that took me ~45 min to find the rental in the backyard. The property manager's phone number went directly to voicemail, which was not set up. The place is advertised as "The Oar House" but there is little association with the lake, no easy access, and the paddle boards were no where to be found. There were no instruction on how to use the heater/AC, just a remote on the night stand that appeared to be out of batteries.

Would stay here again! Close to everything you may need for a short stay. It was perfect for my partner and I.

A nice and cozy place, well equipped with anything you might need on your travels. Located in a quiet neighbourhood but within walkable distance to the busy town areas (shopping/restaurants) and also the lake. Ana Paula and her husband were welcoming! We enjoyed our stay there!
