I have read the Airbnb host guidelines and they start with keeping your property clean. We were aware from the listing pictures this was an older property that might bring back memories of visits to our grandparents' home. The condition of the "Bulldog House" was an insult to anyone's grandparent. The purpose of our visit was to celebrate our daughter / grandaughter's graduation from MSU. The cost of this property for three nights was already a significant investment so the discussion of hotel rooms was brief even though no one wanted to touch anything. We purchased our own cleaning products and went to work. The property is definitely cleaner than when we arrived. The graduation celebration was joyous and took place elsewhere partly by design and some because of the property condition. Mark was very congenial in our messaging and the check-in process was easy as was WiFi access. Unfortunately he was out of town and unable to help with addressing the lack of cleanliness.

Mark went above & beyond to make our weekend in Starkville amazing! He checked in a couple times to make sure our stay was going great and if we needed anything. Answered any questions about places to eat & shop around the area. Always quick to reply if I can any questions! Accommodated my large group to attend the football game. Extremely personable & pleasant!
