This place is a little piece of heaven on earth. Beautiful pool area, super cosy, huge room and super friendly hosts. Upon demand, they can provide a good breakfast, lunch and dinner. I received lots of very useful tips of things to do in the area. I highly recommend this place !

Schönes kleines Hotel mit sehr hilfsbereiten Menschen. Man fühlt sich rasch wohl. Leckeres Frühstück auf individuelle Wünsche angepasst. Einzig in Sachen transparenter Kommunikation von Kosten und vorgängig versprochener Organisation eines Temazcals sehe ich Verbesserungspotential.

Alfredo was een geweldig leuke gastheer. Hij deed er alles aan om ons in de watten te leggen. Hij was erg attent en wist al zijn gasten bij naam te noemen. De kamer zelf was mooi gemaakt met hout en was ruim. De (eigen) badkamer hadden wij niet aan de kamer vast maar dat maakte voor ons niet uit, het is kleinschalig dus geen probleem om even naar de badkamer te lopen. Voordeel van een houten kamer: het is gehorig: je hoort prachtig de jungle geluiden als je wakker wordt. Nadeel van de houten kamer: het is gehorig: je hoort dus ook goed alle andere omgevingsgeluiden.

All the ratings and comments are for Alfredo and the team. HostPal are good but it's not them running the place, it's Hector's team which is lead by Alfredo who is extremely proactive, very friendly and respectful and ensure everyone working at Jungle and Stars embodies same values and culture towards all guests. Very beautiful place that is walking distance to Coba Pyramid and Mayan ruins. Would be better to arrive their by car as you can explore the area freely and even go to tulum, which is only an hour away. We noticed during our stay that most guests are coming mainly for 1 or 2 nights' stay, but we recommend at least 4 or 5 nights if you're looking for proper relaxation in the Mayan Jungle, the place is well designed to experience nature and yet be comfortable with all necessary amenities and especially a fast speed Internet to get work done as well (if required) This place is ideal for small and big groups as well for corporate retreats and maybe small wedding parties too.
