Disconnect from the routine in a charming wooden bungalow in the midst of the nature. Nirvana’s Bungalow is an old style renovated small and cosy wooden cabin in the middle of an olive and avocado garden in Ghazieh valley, across the Bashroon river. With 5-10min. drive from Saida, 2 min. from the coastal highway and a walking distance to the village market, the location is peaceful, relaxing and unique with the charming flowers and plants in Nirvana’s garden. The cabin has a private entrance and is located in the same garden of the host house. The garden has a lot of space and several spots to chill and relax. The cabin is around 16 meters square, with 2 single beds, one of them on the floor. It has a table and chairs, a small cupboard and a private bathroom with a shower. Hot water is available 24*24. Electricity is 24*24 (solar power) unlimited use during the day. At night the Air conditioner could operate on battery mode for only one hours then we switch to fans. The cabin has no kitchen. A small picnic portable gas with cups and basic kitchen equipment are supplied in the cabin to prepare hot drinks. The cabin also has a mini-fridge. A big gas and barbecue space is available in the garden for hosts who wish to cook outdoors (shared space with host family). A balcony is attached to the cabin with view on the garden and a small table with chairs.

We had a marvelous stay at Ali’s magical garden. Most recommended!
Ali and his family are simply wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel right at home, from conversations about the plants he is growing or Lebanese politics, to sharing breakfast together one morning. Ali speaks 5 languages fluently (and dabbles in 2 or 3 more), has travelled the world, and is just a lovely human being. The three cats were a wonderful treat when we sat out in the garden, but they never intruded on our cabin. The cabin itself is basic, but has the important assets, such as aircon/fan and hot showers, and there is no noise at night. We had a car and could easily drive to Sidon/Saida (7 mins) or Tyre/Sur (30 mins). All in all it gave us exactly what we wanted: connecting with people, enjoyable conversation, and the opportunity to learn more about Lebanon.

El alojamiento es un increíble oasis de tranquilidad. No tenemos absolutamente nada malo que decir. Ali y familia son encantadores, amables, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y te hacen sentir realmente como en casa. El alojamiento cuenta con todo lo necesario. Es cómodo, acojedor y decorado con buen gusto. El jardín es precioso y la piscina una maravilla para relajarse después de un día de calor en Sada. Además tiene gatos, que para nosotros siempre es un plus. Nos ha parecido una maravilla en general. Ojalá poder volver un día para volver a alojarnos en con Ali y familia.
Ali and his family were so incredibly welcoming. We loved our time on his property which was like a little oasis of gardens and outdoor spaces. Great clean room and bathroom plus a bonus outdoor shower! Ali helped us find everything we needed - so grateful for our time here.

The location is ideal for visiting South Lebanon, with 5-10 minutes drive to Saida and 20-30 minutes to Tyre. It is also 20-25 minutes drive to Mleeta museum.
Ghazieh village has a beach, and a Cornish, yet has little touristic attractions. It is rather conservative , but gives a chance to live a local experience being near to tourists cities as Saida and Tyre. The village has several fantastic and economic local food (shawarma, falafel and manakeesh).
The location is extremely calm, isolated in a side road , yet in the village center, 1 minute from the village market, with mini markets and grocery stores, vegetable shops around.
The best is if you have a car to drive to other cities and neighboring villages. The place has a parking for guests. If you are not driving, you can take a taxi or a shared taxi (service) to Saida just in the next street. Home taxi service is also available. If you wish to take the public transport you need to walk like 10 minutes to the coastal way or highway to catch a bus.

I am a researcher in public health, married, have 1 daughter and 3 cats. We live in a country studio in the midst of nature, in a beautiful and calm olive tree plantation. In the same garden, "Nirvana's Bungalow" has a private entrance and welcomes guests who love nature and relaxing atmosphere. We love gardening, animals and sports.
