This property is being miss sold by AirB&B and Pembrokeshire letting agency as a 'cottage', it is infact a mid- terrace council house in a run down location. 2 of the bedrooms had severe damp and mold issues with wall paper peeling off and when it rained water was running down walls. The property was dirty- cushions blood stains and cigatette burns, outside has cigatette butts and cider cans and the garden is over grown with weeds and the grass uncut. garden furniture is on its last legs. bouble beds are rickey, with springs popping every time you moved. Bedding was mis-matched, with the second double room only had 1 pillow each, no bed side light or table. The shower head was broken and the toilet flush is temperamental. There is mold all round the bath and the pannel was filthy. In the kitcen there was out of date food in the cupboards,glassware consisted of pint glasses or prosecco glasses, the freezer had completely frozen over. we raised these issues during our stay.

The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. I couldn't fault the host very helpful. Garden space was great. Location was great for visiting Tenby and surrounding areas. Very private. I would go again for sure & would highly recommend booking this house.

Perfect place for a family

We really enjoyed our stay - only a 10-15 minute walk into Tenby town. We were really pleased we could bring our two dogs along with us. The house was lovely, although the sofas and beds were uncomfortable. Nevertheless, there was plenty of space for me, my partner and two dogs. The rooms were clean, although there were a few bits of rubbish (eg clothes tags) under the beds and behind the bin that were there on arrival. Didn’t bother us really, but thought it’s worth mentioning. Plenty of towels were left for us, and the Welsh cakes were a nice touch. We parked on the street behind the house. Nice and quiet in the nights. Also there is a leaky tap in the bath - we couldn’t hear it with the door shut though. We would stay again, thank you :)

We arrived at Newell cottage and parked our very large car in the space allocated, which we did have concerns about after seeing past reviews. We were a little surprised that the place was a house not a cottage as stated. However the house is nicely decorated and was relatively clean. A pint of milk and Welsh cakes to welcome us was a nice touch. Unfortunately there was a smell of damp as we entered the house and a damp patch in the lounge but having the windows open sorted out the smell. The kitchen was well equipped and there was everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for 2 adults, 3 teenagers and a dog. The bathroom could have been cleaner and there was an annoying constant dripping bath tap. But overall the house was perfect for us as a base, conveniently located about a 10 minute walk into Tenby and we all really enjoyed our stay.
