No Cleaning Fee as you enjoy the entire lower level and amazing space. Light floods into the great room. There are 2 bed / 1 bath to recharge & rest. This is truly a CITY RETREAT that is amazingly just 5 to 20 minutes from Scotts Addition, VCU, VUU, U of R, The Fan, VMFA, MCV, Johnston Willis, St. Mary's, RIR, Maymont, Lewis Ginter, Short Pump, more. When you are in-residence, the sounds you hear above your guest suite are not ghosts :) but residents and guests of the upper unit. You will find great green spaces outside with a year-round running creek that comes all the way from the Chesapeake Bay. There is a sun drenched great room with a 55" inch TV and boardroom like dining table. You'll find two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower (no tub) and a full sized washer and dryer for your convenience. Outside, of course, there are chickens that live in their coop and henhouse. Inside, you may hear our Jack Russell terrier mix, scampering about the floor above your guest suite.
Respond in a timely manner, always helpful, very beautiful place to spend with your family.
A wonderful host! There was a great personal touch and everything was clean and neat. The backyard was a great hangout for our son, as well as an idyllic backdrop to the home. The essentials were well stocked. The neighborhood was charming, quiet and in close proximity to the highway. Thank you!
Clean and inviting in a beautiful neighborhood. Spacious and a nice kitchen and bedrooms.
A beautiful location and home. We decided to stay outside of downtown Richmond for this trip and I’m so glad we did. We did have to worry about parking or noise from traffic, and we were still only about 7 minutes from downtown. Very peaceful!
Teresa, we enjoyed the stay. My favorite was the kitchen and the dining area. My family loves to cook and the kitchen served our needs. What a wonderful, safe and friendly neighborhood. Your farm raised eggs were delicious. So good, we are considering raising our own chickens, lol. I highly recommend! Thank you!

Located in Bellevue and super close to Lakeside and Joseph Bryan Park.
The Bellevue neighborhood is roughly a mile long by half a mile wide.
Bounded on the east by Brook Road, on the west by Hermitage Road, on the north by Westbrook Avenue and on the south by West Laburnum Avenue. There are stoplights at all four corners, and at each end of Bellevue Avenue, which bisects the neighborhood half way between Laburnum and Westbrook.
People would walk alone at night.
There are sidewalks but most runners, run in the -- light-traffic --streets.
It's walkable to restaurants; 7-11, bus stops.
Parking is easy.
Bellevue History - In the summer of 1888, the legendary Richmond entrepreneur and “cigarette king,” Lewis Ginter, took a first-class ocean voyage to Australia. While exhibiting goods of the Allen & Ginter tobacco firm at the World’s Fair in Melbourne, he witnessed some of the most beautiful and stately streetcar suburbs in the world. read more here…

LAKESIDE
Though actually part of Henrico County, the Lakeside area is located in what most Richmonders refer to as Northside. The neighborhood is roughly bordered by Bryan Park to the South, Hermitage Road to the North, Galaxie Road to the West and Lakeside Avenue to the East. Given its central location with easy access to the interstates, Bryan Park, and a variety of retailers, buyer interest has steadily grown in recent years.
Lakeside was given its name by Major Lewis Ginter, who in 1895 named his bicycle club the Lakeside Wheel Club (now the Bloemendaal House at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden) and built Lakeside Park (now the Jefferson Lakeside Country Club).
Lakeside Outdoor
Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens – Most any time of year is a good time to go, but Garden Fest of Lights during the holidays and water play for the kids in the summer are particularly popular events.
Bryan Park – Take a walk through the Azalea Gardens in the spring, play a little frisbee golf, explore the trails or just enjoy a little relaxation by the water. The City took advantage of the rolling hills, streams, and ponds to create an unique urban park and over the years the park has evolved to include a well-known azalea garden, jogging and mountain biking trails, soccer fields, tennis courts, a playground, a frisbee golf course, and lots of picnicking spots.
Lakeside Food

Original Gravity – Who can say no to a delicious, ice cold beer? Award winning craft beer brewer and supplier for those that DIY.
