Avotu Street 4A is situated in an amazing central location, providing cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, and public transportation right by your doorstep.
When it comes to public transportation, Avotu Street 4 is conveniently right next to the bus stop "Dzirnavu iela" where you can take a bus or a trolley bus right to the very city center. You can purchase a public transport ticket in the nearby "Narvesen" kiosk.
The closest grocery/convenience store is called "Mini Rimi" (Address: Marijas iela 14) just a 2-minute walking distance. There you can purchase all you may need for a home-cooked meal, snacks, and any other convenience items.
We suggest visiting the breakfast bar "This Place Doesn't Need A Name" which is just next to the apartment building (Address: Avotu iela 4). It's a great place to have a bite to eat with a tasty drink to go with it in a cozy atmosphere.
Also, one of the top bakeries in Riga is located just 2 minutes away called "Mārtņa Beķereja" (Address: Marijas iela 19). They serve delicious and scrumptious freshly baked pastries and other baked goods, with delicious coffee.
For outdoor enthusiasts, we suggest visiting the popular Vērmanes Dārzs Park - it is an 11-minute walking distance away. It is perfect for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing sit with a cup of tea at the Tabu Tea House. During summertime, local crafts markets and other festivities take place here.
If you are looking for a place to go on a shopping spree, you should definitely visit the shopping mall "Origo" (Address: Stacijas Laukums 4) where you will find multiple clothing stores, cosmetic shops, and cafeterias. It's also famous for its large "Riga" clock which makes it perfect for a photo!

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
If you wish to visit Old Town and want to use public transportation to get there, Avotu Street 4A apartment building is not far from the bus stop called "Dzirnavu iela" (a 2-minute walk) - bus No.18 "Centrala Stacija" drives through the city center. It's a very convenient form of transport since they are running very often. We suggest checking your route on Gooogle Maps beforehand though.
A public transport ticket costs €1.50 and is valid for 90 minutes for all public transportation under "Rigas Satiksme". You can buy a public transport ticket, just across the street, at the nearby kiosk "Narvesen" located at Aleksandra Caka Street 22 (a 1-minute walk).
TAXI:
You can also use the mobile taxi app called “Bolt” which is usually a cheaper option than regular taxis. Download the app from the application store on your phone, connect it to your bank account, enter your destination address, and enjoy the ride! There is also an option to pay in cash - remember to mark it as your form of payment in the app if you plan to pay in cash.
PARKING:
We do not offer guest parking on the property premises.
PARKING LOT:
We suggest using "Par Expert" parking lot, located on Briznieka Upisa street 19. It's located on the other side of the building, so you can park your car and go to the yard via a small courtyard gate. You have to use app "Mobilly" to pay for the parking. Zone UPI

STREET PARKING:
Avotu Street 4A is located in parking zone B and is free on workdays from 8 PM to 8 AM and on weekends from 5 PM to 9 AM.
If you would like to pay for street parking, you can complete the payment at the nearby parking meters by card or via the "Mobilly" app.
