Really great stay. Nice neighborhood and the house is located within a 10 minute walk from the nearest bus stop as well as about 30 minutes from the Mendenhall glacier visitor areas. Michelle’s dad was really knowledgeable about the area and provided great recommendations for what to see and where to go to eat. He was also really helpful driving us to/from the airport and allowing us to store our luggage until the flight on our check out day. Breakfast provided was excellent.

John was a great host! Offered to cook breakfast every morning. Room was clean and spacious! My stay was very comfortable. I highly recommend it for your next trip to Juneau.

John and Michelle were so extremely generous during my stay - cooking breakfast each morning, grabbing me from the airport, and providing wonderful recommendations. The spot is very close to the glacier and made for easy hiking access. A wonderful and hospitable stay during my visit to Juneau.

Look past the clutter in yard ... room was neat, quiet and comfy with a tv, microwave and mini fridge! Michelle's dad was my host ... always wanting to be helpful ... preparing breakfast each morning and inviting me to join him and a friend for fish tacos one dinner. He also was available to drive me to the visitor center and to the ferry terminal. This was very helpful. Although location is close to public bus stop for once hourly access to downtown Juneau, restaurants, grocery store and shops are not within walking distance.
