Benoit’s place was even better than we could have expected! He was so friendly and the grounds were so peaceful.
The space was a warm and cozy place for us to retreat to after winter adventures around Quebec City. Happy to know that staying there supports Benoit’s beautiful permaculture gardens!
Bonjour, nous avons été très bien accueilli en ce lieu paisible et magnifique. Évidemment, l'automne est une saison moins fleurie mais tout-de-même le jardin est encore rempli de beautés. Le plus agréable est le bruit de la rivière couché dans le hamac avec quelques rayons de soleil qui caressent notre visage au retour d'une longue journée de randonnée. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. Merci.

I recently purchased this eco-house in April 2021 and layed out extensive fruit and vegetable gardens with permaculture design, and integrative approach with nature. Many volunteers have come to lend a helping hand and learn about ecology and organic farming. Renting the house is also important to provide a window into this unique lifestyle for visitors to enjoy during their short stays. Prior to that, and this is reflected in the house with many asian treasures, I lived and worked in Asia in international development helping small producers develop their products and access to markets. We look forward to welcome you at Maïa Gardens.
