This place is amazing. Honestly the pictures don’t do it justice because the setting is incredible, the property is huge and the comfort level is really really high. Gemma and her family were super helpful, the proximity to the beach and local pub was brilliant, there was a lovely playground for our kids and the town was a nice 20 minute walk along the coast. We would highly recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gemma’s place. The accommodation is first class, we were particularly impressed with the fantastic kitchen, especially the coffee maker, shower, and of course the hot tub. There is also plenty of seating outside to enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful sunsets. There is a very nice pub/restaurant a 3 minute walk away. Out front is a grassy area, perfect for fun ball games and the beach perfect for swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking is only a few further yards away. Cowes town centre with more restaurants and shops is only a 25 minute walk along by the sea. Gemma answered one minor query swiftly and positively and was a great host.

We have just left after an amazing few days at Gemma and Mark’s place. This is easily one of the best air bnbs we have ever stayed in. The house itself is absolutely beautiful with incredible facilities and wonderful views. The house is on a quiet bay where we were able to swim in the sea and the children could play on the beach. Gemma and Mark were wonderful hosts who met us on arrival and made us feel at home. The house is honestly so gorgeous, we thoroughly enjoyed time in the hot tub overlooking the beautiful beach and a drink at the quiet pub nearby. The extra toys, books and play house were a massive bonus and kept the kids super happy. Thank you for the recommendations Gemma and Mark and for being such fantastic hosts. We are already booking for next year!

Amazing place, amazing host. Hard to convey how lovely the location, facilities and house is. It really is right next to a gorgeous, peaceful beach you can see from the hot tub. The house and garden are like something from a magazine - the photos don’t do it justice. Gemma is the most generous, kind host in the world too. She’s included loads of things that are insanely generous - Sage coffee machine! Condiments! Things I can’t even think of but just made everything that but easier and more pleasant. We had a few mishaps with the kids too - first time I’d ever had to apologise to a host and I had to do it twice (eg the 4 year old lost a key somewhere in the house and we couldn’t find it). I’m still trying to convince Gemma to let me pay. We’d love to go back. It felt like a proper break to be there. We’re very grateful for such a lovely experience.

We were so lucky to find this property on the Isle of Wight this summer. Gemma and Mark communicated with us very well in the lead up to our stay and were there to meet us on arrival. They showed us where everything was and made sure we had all we needed. They were so thoughtful and left us a lovely welcome pack and things in the fridge to get us started. There was even charcoal for the BBQ and marshmallows for the kids to toast on the firepit as well as some local beers for us to try out! They thought of everything and really made us feel welcome in their lovely house. There were lots of things for the kids like games / toys / DVDs and some inflatables / paddle boards outside that they very kindly said we could use. The property is really well equipped and has everything we needed for our stay. The location is brilliant - right across the street from Gurnard beach. What really stands out with the location though is the amazing sunsets. The hot-tub on the terrace as well as 2 large outdoor seating/dining areas and a barbecue and firepit made for a great space to spend time during the days and evenings. Cowes with many nice restaurants and shops is within walking distance along the Esplanade. We would definitely return again if we visit the Isle of Wight.
