beautiful exo home on a beautiful piece of property. our family of 5 had a great time using thr home as a homebase for snow fun and hiking, but also for kayaking in the pond, swinging on the multiple swings, or exploring thr pond waterfall. excellent setting and host is fast to respond

I really can't say enough great things about Lisa and her home. When I arrived I instantly felt like I had transported to a different place on the globe. I've stayed in my fair share of beautiful homes across the world and I can honestly say Lisa's home contends with the best of what Italy and France have to offer. The house instantly felt like a home away from home. With daily walks down to to the pond, hikes back up the hill, playing with the neighborhood dogs, watching the deer and wild turkeys, listening to the frogs at night or gazing up at the crystal clear sky to see stars and constellations as far as my eyes could see. MAGIC!!! Lisa and her husband were extremely accommodating, allowing me to extend my stay multiple times because I didn't want to leave the serenity. I absolutely can't wait to go back and visit family in Sonora so I can rent this little slice of heaven again... Heaven in Sonora, CA... who knew?! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I don't think I can adequately put into the limited characters given just how wonderful Lisa's StrawBale house was!I am always looking for off the beaten path and unique experiences for my family & this fit that requirement perfectly.The moment we drove up we knew we had made the perfect choice.We were greeted by 2 sweet neighbor dogs when we arrived which we loved.The many swings were a blast for the kids. My 10 year old kayaked in the lake on 2 of our days at our stay in mid February-it was even raining on one of those days-he loved it!The straw bale construction of the home was something I knew nothing about prior to coming but I want to know more now!The heated concrete floors kept the house comfortable and toasty warm.I loved all the little details in this gorgeous home-the way the light filtered through the window and filled the rooms, the pillows, candles and other unique decor everywhere to gaze upon-if a home can be a work of art, this is it! Will def be coming back.Thank you!
