Our family stayed at Kris’ place over the Christmas holidays. We were looking for a location close to LaPasse for some family events and his place definitely met our needs. The entire house was spotless and had everything we needed for our family of four. The Christmas lights and tree were a nice touch. We would recommend this spot to people looking for some down time in the Ottawa Valley or as an alternative place to stay, should you want to do some summer time activities like whitewater rafting, mountain biking or hiking.

Next year for sure will Be returning, very great peaceful place to relax, people are very welcoming, nice atmosphere, and they gas up your vehicles here haha… gas boy… was worth a visit, had a blast with my reasons for this purpose.

Nice spot on the river, super clean cabin with all the amenities you could need to make your self feel right at home. Great neighbours and great place for peace and quiet. Kris was easy to deal with and provided everything we needed for an extended stay.

Great place to stay with kids. Very beautiful location and excellent host. We were a party of six with kids, 7-10 year-olds, staying over Canada Day long weekend. The place is perfect for relaxing, fishing, spending time at campfire, stargazing and canoeing. Ottawa river was a bit cold for kids. Also, there is a noticeable current that one should be mindful with kids. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, very comfortable family room, well situated bedrooms, large kitchen with a breakfast area. With a gazebo, gas fire pit and another wood fire pit near water, there were more places to spend time, eat and relax than we even had time for. Communication with Kris was excellent. Everything was clear and easy. Kris and Mike were very helpful and answered any questions we had, suggested places to see, trails, etc. We were all very happy and hoping to visit again next year. Highly recommend it.

Great Place and a great Host. A gorgeous little place on near the Ottawa river. It really is a perfect place to relax and enjoy time with friends and family. Kris the host is also phenomenal. Always available, engaged, and prompt.
