Casa in care am stat avea unele probleme cu baia, era o instalație veche și gazda ne-a mutat in alta casa , f drăguța. Este o experiența pe care o recomand. Unele case au un așa numit iz de casa veche. Cei care au astm sau alergii puternice la acarieni sa fie precauți.

Our stay in the little village of Malanclav was unfortunately a bit below our expectations, and we have already informed our hosts about that. The house is located quite centrally in the village and on both days it was quite loud at night, with people drinking and playing music in the neighborhood. Once around 1.30 am my husband had to go outside to check if everything was fine because he got a bit worried. There was a problem with the piping in the house, that resulted in a terrible smell throughout our stay there. The owners have said, however, they are working on improving the situation. The fridge in the house was old and dirty but will hopefully be changed soon. We had a lovely lady looking after us and cooking for us, but unfortunately we couldn’t communicate with her at all as she doesn’t speak English or German. Also, one could see she put a lot of effort into cooking for us, and we wouldn’t like to sound unappreciative, but it was not very appetizing how some of the food and drink was served (e.g. Palinka from an old bottle of whisky that was standing in the corner of the kitchen among empty bottles from the previous guests, or jams from old jam glasses… ) These are just some examples and it would be very easy to present that food a bit nicer. Also, I wouldn’t offer huge pieces of white bread and margarine to the guests, but maybe make your own bread..? With butter? Maybe less food but better quality? All in all, we expected a lovely old house, renovated with a bit of flair to it, however what we experienced was a hastily done up old house, with makeshift solutions that unfortunately give the whole place a cheap and dirty feeling. However, the place definitely has a potential and we do hope that it’ll soon be improved for the next guests to come.

Our stay was perfect, the village and the house will bring you to another time and space. Simona is a wonderful person and her food is amazing. Thank you for everything !!
