Kommunikasjonen med Sigrid gikk fint, og stedet var som beskrevet. Omgivelsene er "midt i ingenting", men dette var vi klar over ved booking. Koselig hus som bærer litt preg av å være gammelt men i god stand. Vær oppmerksom på at nærmeste butikk er 15 kilometer unna på grusveier i Norge, og at det er 40-50 minutter til andre steder (Charlottenberg, Torsby, Arvika). Ikke noe problem så lenge en har bil, men verdt å huske på. Veiene er ikke spesielt gode heller. Men alt i alt et fint opphold, hjemmekoselig hus og godt vertskap.

I will strongly recommend Sigrids house on the boarder between Norway and Sweden. We had a very good stay here. The house has every facility we needed, it was clean and it was good order. The garden was big, and our children loved to play in it. The communication with Sigrid has been very good. She has answered fast and has given us help with what we needed. In other words we had a very nice stay this weekend i "Finnskogen"

Huge house in very quiet, beautiful area. Lots of space inside and out, and the living area is cosy and charming. Right on the Norwegian border which as other reviewers noted is currently closed, bring groceries. Also worth noting if travelling with toddlers, there are wide stairs which we 'managed' with keeping hallway doors shut, and also there is no bathtub/microwave. Lots of games, toys and a great little converted closet cubby for older kids though. Would advise arriving before dark given remoteness, although check in was easy on arrival. Would recommend.

Great quiet and cosy place to stay. Remember to bring groceries as long as the Norwegian border is closed, as the closest shop in Sweden is some distance away.

This is a great house in a quiet and remote area. Perfect for a getaway vacation for 1 or 2 families. There are many bedrooms and lots of space. There is a large garden to enjoy and it's surrounded by forests and many lakes for hiking and exploring. The closest grocery store is 40 minutes away, so be sure to stock up on your way. (There are closer stores on the Norwegian side, but the border was closed due to Covid restrictions when we were there.)
