Just a stone’s throw away from the seafront, this little cottage has everything you need for a perfect stay in the picturesque village of Mumbles. Named after the gorgeous sea views from the top terrace. The perfect place to unwind and enjoy a glass of wine after a busy day exploring the Gower Peninsula. This quiet street is only a few minutes walk to the bars, restaurants and shops. It is just over a mile to the stunning beaches of Langland and Rotherslade. This really is the perfect spot! ‘The Lookout’ is a compact two bedroom fisherman’s cottage on the iconic, ‘Village Lane’. It has everything you need for a memorable stay. Please note, while our cottage sleeps 5, it is very compact and more set up for 4. We only have 4 chairs at our dining table. Before booking, please ensure that you read through the ‘other things to note’ section. To get to the cottage from the seafront it is a few minutes walk uphill back to the cottage. In the lounge we have a comfortable sofa which also pulls out into a sofa bed to enjoy a cosy film night. The TV in the lounge is set up with a Roku where you will be able to sign in to your Netflix account. Kitchen has an integrated washing machine / tumble drier, fridge and freezer. There is a Nespresso coffee machine for guests to use. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need to whip up a delicious feast. If you require a travel cot and high chair, please let your hosts know who would be happy to arrange this for you. If the number of guests in your party exceed 3, there will be an additional £10 fee per guest for your stay to allow for the extra cleaning time, washing and increase to utility bills. This £10 fee will also be charged if all three beds are used. You are very welcome to bring your own cot and linen. If you would like us to supply a travel cot and fresh linen for the cot, a £10 fee will be applied for your stay. If you require additional linen for the sofa bed, a £10 fee will be applied.
