Absolutely magical place nestled in the woods. Warm & responsive hosts that were able to accommodate us for a last minute booking (thank you!). A fantastic spot to bring the dog & great jumping off point for gorgeous hikes around the area. We will absolutely be back & hope to make it annually! Next time we hope to check out the trails on premises & take the row boat out!

We had a great time and so did our deaf & blind aussie. It was so nice to stay somewhere where she could also come along and be safe in doing so. We loved the lake and sauna!

My family (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog) had a very nice time at the bunk house. Mike was an amazing host, he was attentive and responsive for any of the things we needed. The resort is very cool, it makes me want to go back with other groups of families to take over all of the other cabins. If I were to stay in the bunkhouse again I would make sure the weather was much cooler. The temperature went over 90°F and there aren't many windows that open in the cabin, so there was some discomfort at night, they had plenty of fans however, so that helped. Having the ability to wake up and go for a paddle or out on a boat was pretty magical, it was also nice meeting some of the other guests staying in one of the other cabins. We took a day trip to Marquette, checked out a restaurant, found a park along the road, and swam in Lake Superior for many hours. We would definitely go back again.
