Stylish, comfortable 2nd floor flat in traditional Victorian townhouse, in Edinburgh's leafy Abbeyhill area, owned by Scottish artist. The apartment is ideally situated, in a quiet street yet close to the heart of the city. Within easy walking distance of the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace and Park, Calton Hill, Scottish Parliament and the Old Town. Light breakfast included in cost - croissants/jam and cereals, coffee, tea and milk. The flat has a double bedroom with king-size bed. Bathroom with bath, shower and sink. Separate toilet with sink, spacious living room with dining table. Kitchen is small but well-equipped, with washing machine and large fridge. There is a communal garden area, accesible from the ground floor of the communal stair.

房东互动：Rose非常热情耐心，我晚上回去没找到吹风机比较晚了问她，她马上回复了我！位置：位置很方便，楼下就有bus车站，去海边和老城都很便利！独特亮点：房子内的艺术作品都很有爱丁堡的特色，我特别喜欢里面的鲜花，还有窗帘的材质，像是白色的画布卫生：房子很干净

Rose was very accommodating and let us check in early after a long flight. The kitchen and fridge had useful supplies like milk and croissants. We especially enjoyed Rose’s paintings on the walls. It was a great location to walk everywhere. I highly recommend it!

Cozy flat within a 15-30 minute walk to all the major attractions in town. Rose was extremely nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Lyne Street is in Edinburgh's Abbeyhill area. It's just five minutes walk from the Old Town and historical areas. 15-20 minutes walk from Princes Street (or a 5 minute bus ride). It's leafy and surrounded by parks - Holyrood Park, Regent Park and Calton Hill. There are several cafes just within a few minutes walk, takeaways and pubs. It's a residential area mainly, but quite lively. Plenty of bus stops nearby too.

Lyne Street
Parking is free in Lyne Street but there are usually very few spaces.
Montrose Terrace
You can park for free in Montrose Terrace (top of Lyne Street) during the day for most of the time, except busy periods which are:
8 till 9:15am
4:30 till 6pm in the afternoon.
You can park all day for free Saturday and Sunday but ONLY on the far side/north side of Montrose Terrace. (same side as The Citadel Bookshop on Montrose Terrace)
Leith Area.
In the Leith area there are several residential streets where you can park free all day and night – these include Pilrig Street, Dryden Street, Iona Street, Albert Street and Lorne Street. Drive down Easter Road to access these streets as Leith Walk is currently difficult to access due to tram works in development.
Meadowbank Shopping Centre
You can park free for up to 4 hours during the day at Meadowbank Shopping Centre nearby. (ten mins walk). Be careful to get there before the 4 hours are finished as they charge £70 if you’re just a minute over!
