The Ed’s place was quite a beautiful and easy to reachable place. It takes hardly 30 mins from Edinburgh Waverley station to reach here. The bus stops are next to the place also have Sainsbury’s local just downstairs and few more grocery stores, also few of the restaurants and eateries. Our stay was enjoyable. Just what we felt was bit of the amenities were on place, as there was no kitchen roll, no coffee and cooking oil. May be these things can be added in the house to make it more comfortable for the people who are trying to cook in the house. But these things are no where show stopper! 😊

We had a fabulous stay at this gorgeous flat in Stockbridge over Easter. Warm, cosy and comfortable, it was in a great location with cafes, restaurants and supermarkets all within walking distance, and a bus practically outside the door. It’s a 15 minute walk along the Water or Leith to Dean’s Village and it’s walkable into the city centre if you’re so inclined. Could not recommend more.

Overall, this flat was liveable but disappointing. The listing’s pictures implied a much better, larger flat than it was. I could tolerate the size if it were pristine; alas, it has signs of wear and deferred maintenance. For example, there was some mould on window frames (due to insufficient ventilation) and a missing towel bar. The kitchen was the best room in the flat but was lacking in some basics that make it truly usable (e.g., knives, bakeware, utensils). Not everyone eats out for every meal. The beds sagged and were not very supportive, contrary to Taryn's review. Based on the review timeline, it appears the property was in better condition in 2021 and has not received the proper care and attention necessary for a rental unit. For what we paid, we expected more. However, the flat’s location is great, quite close to central Edinburgh with ample public transport and Stockbridge itself is charming with numerous activities, shops, and restaurants.
