We stayed at Vanessa's Bell Tent in August with our two children, and we all had a lovely time. It was just what we needed for exploring the local area, and the kids thought it was just brilliant! Even in August, it still got rather cold overnight, so pack plenty of warm clothes and hot water bottles. We will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

Just returned from a lovely weekend at this Airbnb. We live pretty near in Glasgow but it was perfect to get away for a few days to relax. Vanessa was very friendly & was there to greet us on arrival & help us with check in. We had some sunshine on the first night so we cooked dinner on the firepit & relaxed. On the Saturday morning while it was still nice we went one of the walks that Vanessa provided & took a wild swim. Pretty cold but stunning location & something to check off the bucket list. The weather sadly changed so we took a trip to Mauchline & had a late lunch at the Fairburn Hotel which was really good. We had a look around the Burns House museum & then popped in to Woodys diner for an amazing ice cream Sunday. The rain poured down all night but we were cosy & comfortable in the tent. A long hot water bottle was perfect for the cooler night. The location & tent are great for a break away. It is a unique experience & we’d do it again. Many thanks Vanessa x

Vanessa and her family were very friendly and kind during our stay there. Provided us with everything we needed/asked and took the time to show us around the place as well as explain everything. Gave us a map for things to do in the nearby area and was very responsive to any questions I had sent. Overall lovely experience and people!!
