David and Judy were wonderful hosts. Super responsive and always available to help. The accommodation was novel and a great experience. Lighting the fire while playing chess and drinking wine in the hut while avoiding some of the bad weather was one of the many highlights for us. It is clear the a lot of care is taken as the spaces were very clean and well looked after. The location is great for exploring Newquay and we made it a base for exploring the rest of Cornwall with St Ives less than an hour away. The bathroom and kitchenette are not connected to the hut but that really didn’t make a tangible difference to us. In fact. Remember to bring your own towels and shower gel as well (it does mention that in the description so no surprises for us). Overall, David and Judy run a great Airbnb and we would highly recommend experiencing it and the charm it has. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Stayed here for two weeks. Only good things to say about it, hosts are friendly and helpful, the house is cozy so even on rainy days it was nice to be in, walkable to everything you'd want to do, and their dog Pogo is a real cutie. You can really tell they put a lot of effort and love into making this place awesome. After 3 months in the UK this was my favorite accommodation and was lucky to find it. 10/10

We absolutely loved our stay at The Surf Shack! Absolutely beautiful, tranquil, super friendly hosts, spotlessly clean, we feel we had a real gem of a week at this lovely Airbnb. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again. Just a stones throw from one of the best of many amazing local beaches, tonnes to do and a lovely healthy environment to live in. Loved it! X

Great stay at the Pixie Hut for our 2nd wedding anniversary. David and Judy are great hosts and made us feel very at home. we arrived to David, Judy and Pogo who gave us a great tour of the hut and also surprised us with a nice bottle of fizz and some excellent home made scones. Would definitely recommend staying here!

David and Judy gave us a great little visit to Cornwall! We felt relaxed and content with our stay. The shack is super cosy, the fire in the middle is fun and warming and the garden area is very neat and nice places to sit. We were blessed with lovely weather but even in colder moments it was the loveliest accommodation! The local area was nice, amazing beaches and fields to sit in. Good local shops and amusements!
