Mon amie Nathalie et moi avons passé un excellent séjour chez Phil. Le logement est très insolite. Phil a eu la gentillesse de nous prêter des serviettes de bain. Cependant, quand je me suis aperçu que la seule prise électrique du bateau était dans la cuisine, loin du lit, j'ai demandé à Phil une rallonge électrique car je dors avec un appareil de respiration là nuit. Je n'ai jamais eu de réponse et je n'ai jamais rencontré Phil ou une autre personne. Cela m'a dérangé...

We booked a weekend at The Lifeboat for my birthday weekend, we were a family of 2 adults, 2 older children and 2 dogs. The land we stayed on was beautiful, we heard the birds and horses which we loved and spent a lot of time in the Glamping field making fab use of the bbq/firepit while the dogs were able to explore plenty of field around us within eye distance. The actual lifeboat was far better than we expected. We were all very comfortable in the space and didn’t feel ‘crammed in’ which we previously worried we would. The lifeboat was clean, quirky and well equipped. We mostly ate outside but we were thankful we took lap trays with us so we could eat a little more comfortably inside on the beds, however there are multiple little bench type seating areas in the main room of the lifeboat which was perfect. We took lots of extras such as tea towels, extra toilet roll, antibac spray but didn’t need or use any of it. Phil was fab too! Thanks for our stay!!!

We had a great stay at the lifeboat. Kids thought it was amazing. Lovely quiet location. Clean and well equipped. Beds were really comfy. The shower was hot! A great glamping experience. :)

I booked this place for something different to do with my two boys and husband. it is safe to say that the boys 6 & 2 absolutely loved it, constantly asking if we can go back home to the life boat on our days out. The place was great, we all loved it. for saying it was talking about as glamping, it didn't feel like this at all. it was warm, we loved the log fire to make it extra cosy. it was very comfy and perfect for a couple of nights. great location, close to everything, tho ideally you need a car. the setting was very quiet when we were there. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay.

Really enjoyed our stay in the repurposed ship’s lifeboat. Super location for exploring St Ives via the train, and Marazion, Mousehole and beyind. The conversion of the lifeboat is spot on, cosy and warm with efficient heating, woodburner and instant hot water. Kitchen and bathroom have everything you need for a simple yet comfortable stay. Will hopefully return soon, thanks Phil.
