This was the most disappointing trip we have ever taken. In fact, this is the only negative review I have ever written. The home appears to be someone’s full-time house that we are in. But care wasn't taken to clean out the host's things before we got there. To begin, we arrived and found a cleaning company car taking up most of the driveway. We assumed that a cleaning company was there so we contacted the host but received no reply. After waiting for 15 minutes we decided to check the door. We went in and discovered that there was no one there. Despite asking, the host never explained why the car was in the driveway. But that wasn’t the worst of it. As we walked around the house we noticed that the host's personal items were everywhere. Mail was in the drawers along with socks and undergarments and other clothing. The pantry was full of food including items that were open (popcorn etc). The refrigerator is full of food as is the freezer. And to be clear, these items were not things left for the guests. There were half-used condiments, meat, yogurt, etc. The freezer was completely full. The bathrooms were dirty and did not have fresh towels. Indeed, at least one towel looked used and unwashed. One bathroom had a used bar of soap in the shower. We took several photos and even have correspondence from the host that we received an hour before checking in stating that food would be in the refrigerator and freezer during our stay. No mention that the pantry would be full and clothing would be in the closets. One closet had a sheet hanging with a full wardrobe of clothing pushed to the opposite side. There was a lot of clothing from the host in all of the closets and drawers. It was impossible to make the place feel like our own because it was clear that personal items were simply shoved to the side and stuffed in drawers before guests arrived. I found the effort to welcome guests highly unacceptable. The rental was canceled and we were able to find a place that is much better maintained. I do not recommend this place at all.

I don’t believe the blankets on the where clean :( Other then that place was fabulous!!
