The Salyer House in Whitesburg, KY, is in a quiet, secure residential area within a few blocks walk of downtown shopping, entertainment, library, restaurants, etc. The property is well cared for, beautifully landscaped gardens outdoors, a lovely, covered porch out the kitchen door, great for morning coffee or a relaxing drink after dinner. The indoor furnishings are fantastic, each suite with its own private bathroom facilities. Each suite had a unique decor, all restful and spacious. The common areas: living room, enclosed front porch, dining room (long table seating at least 8 or more), user friendly kitchen, were great for our group of 10 adults. Everyone enjoyed their stay. We would definitely come back. In fact, I didn't want to leave Salyer House! P.S. The breakfasts at Pine Mountain Grille were a great start to each day.

This is a beautiful historic home in downtown Whitesburg. They did an amazing remodel that brought everything up to date and modern but also kept much of the original details of the home. There is a nice little yard and the location is convenient to walking in downtown Whitesburg. There was plenty of space for our large family of 8 adults 2 toddlers and an infant. The house is set up with 6 private suites so that rooms can be rented individually or you can rent the entire house for a large group such as ours. I would highly recommend Salyer House if you are looking for a place to stay in Whitesburg.

The Sayler House is an amazing find, perfectly located with quick access to everything Whitesburg has to offer. We highly recommend staying here while in the area!
