We had a disastrous holiday completely attributable to the accommodation. No working air con ( the system was rusty and very old - an engineer said it was unusable), faulty tv, mid- represented as 3 bedrooms ( one was actually a smelly, mouldy and dirty mezzanine with tissue pushed into cracks on walls. Wardrobe drawers were broken, fridge door broken, no kitchen lights, leaking bathroom sink, toilet repeatedly flushing, filthy sofa bed. The whole apartment was extremely run down bearing no similarity with the pictures advertised. Everything needed repair and attention and the whole apartment required a deep clean. I would strongly recommend choosing another apartment nearby as the location was brilliant.

It was not honest behaviour. Be careful. After we paid he rang and said we couldn’t have it after all immediately but we could have another apartment of his without air con and on a complex with no pool and ,no wifi. when I said no to that he disappeared. Air bnb sorted an inmediate refund thankfully. It isn’t very clear as the text exists or whether he continues to advertise it when he already has gas in it and then offers inferior quality … best to just be cautious and maybe ask him some questions about whether it’s definitely going to be available before you book

Nice stay in central location. We were however expecting 1.5 or 2 bathrooms as we were 3 friends with 3 rooms… in the end only one bathroom including toilet… After our remark Alexander however updated the description… The other things of the flat (location, terrace…) compensated however for this .

We’re a couple with a baby and the apartment was fine for what we needed. Plenty of space, a high chair, well-equipped kitchen, good bathroom. Pictures were accurate. After a couple of nights at a resort we wanted to be more in the town, be able to self-cater and be closer to a kite-surf school - so the location worked well for us. Porto Antigo is a pleasant apartment complex, lots of character and beautiful Bougainvillea everywhere. Nice pool and beach - good for a little one.
