Enjoy your stay in our cozy, newly rebuilt apartment. We are at Miragaia (historic center), steps to Ribeira, the Douro River, and a short ride to Foz. We are Elio and Madalena, recently retired and art and nature lovers. Bruna (our daughter-in-law) is currently living in NY and helping us communicate effectively with our guests, but we are in Porto for anything in person needed. Our aim was to create a comfortable place, we added some of the furniture and paintings we created as a hobby. Centrally located to enjoy all the city has to offer, the apartment can sleep up to 4 people comfortably. Equipped with 2 bedrooms - one queen-size bed and 2 single beds. With a great dining area and a fully equipped kitchenette with all the necessary appliances - a refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker with coffee capsules, washing machine and dryer in unit. Bedsheets, towels, shampoo, shower gel, and a gift basket are included. Kids/baby-friendly place very well equipped with flat fee amenities: crib, bathtub and high chair. We are also open to setting a table desk for remote working if asked in advance. Ideal for a family who wants to be in a quiet location in the historic center. Also a good spot for a worker who is looking for a comfortable place, with all amenities, calm and very central. Direct access from the main bedroom as well as the living room to the balcony where you can have breakfast peacefully with the trees around (no buildings or constructions as a barrier), the historic tram passing by and a glance of the Douro River in the background. This is also the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset or just relaxing from a full day in the city. The apartment is ready and well equipped both for short or longer stays.

We really enjoyed our stay at this amazing apartment. The check-in and check-out went smooth. The apartment looks just the same as in photos, was super clean and has everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is well-equipped and allows you to cook and enjoy your meal. We were a group of 4 and this apartment is exactly what you need if you travel in a group of 4 people. The location of the apartment is really good, is approximately 15-20 minutes walk to the city center and Ribeira. The bus stop is just in front of the apartment, so one can take a bus and travel to the beach (the ride will take 15-20 minutes). Elio is an amazing host, the communication was easy. We really appreciated all the helpful advices and recommendations from Elio. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Die Wohnung liegt optimal, um Porto zu erkunden. In nur 5 Minuten ist man im Stadtzentrum. Wir haben uns als Familie sehr wohl gefühlt. Bei Fragen waren die Vermieter sehr offen und konnten uns jederzeit weiterhelfen. Wir kommen gerne hierhin zurück.

The apartment was wonderful and it was easy to walk to most attractions in Porto. All amenities were there as advertised. It’s also on the historic tram line which offered a great ride home. Very convenient and comfortable and I recommend as a place to stay on your trip to Porto.

Excellent location in the heart of the historic center makes it easy to reach, even on foot, several points of urban, cultural and historical interest.
In the surrounding area, you can find the S. Francisco Church, Palácio da Bolsa, Casa do Infante, Palácio da Alfandega, S. Bento Railway Station, Torre dos Clérigos, Livraria Lello (Bookshop), Palácio da Cordoaria / Museu da Fotografia, Soares dos Reis Museum and several art galleries on Rua Miguel Bombarda, allowing you to enjoy and discover the details of the city's characteristic architecture, where granito predominates, such as facades with traces of different eras, narrow streets and staircases.
We are also surprised by small taverns and small food restaurants (tascas), Portuguese cuisine and more.

Located in the heart of the historic part of town, just by the side of the Douro river and the Alfandega building it is easily accessible from the airport by train, bus, metro or car.
A 5 min walk from S. Francisco Church, Palácio da Bolsa, Ferreira Borges Market (with a restaurant) as well as the historic center - Ribeira.
A 10 min walk from Largo S. Domingos and Rua das Flores with fancy and great restaurants and with the main access to the city - S. Bento Station, Avenida dos Aliados, Clerigos Tower, Lello Bookshop, Portuguese Centre of Photography and so on.
The beaches are also easily accessible from the apartment which has the 500 bus (awesome panoramic bus) and the traditional tram stop at its doorstep. The ride takes 10 mins to Foz and 20 mins to Matosinhos (nice beaches and fresh fish/seafood restaurants). Bicycle rent is available just 3 mins from the apartment.
