We loved this cottage!  It was clean, spacious, and provided an authentic cottage feel you look for when you go on vacation.  The location was great.  Private and in a quiet neighbourhood. There was a small playground down the street that the kids loved! Port Elgin and Kincardine were just a short drive away if you needed to make a quick trip to the grocery store or wanted to dine out. Stephanie provided a list of local beach recommendations that we found very helpful as the private beach was not ideal at the time for swimming (mucky). The amenities exceeded our expectations.  The hot tub, basketball net, numerous board games, BBQ, and smart TV access all contributed to an incredible experience. It even had a toddler Adirondack chair and table set that was perfect for our kids to share at meal times. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone, we had such a fun week!

Myself, my husband and our 3 young children just spent the week at Stephanie’s cottage and it was perfect for us! There was even a small little park around the corner that my kids enjoyed. We loved the location and loved exploring Port Elgin. The only bummer was that the water levels were very low so the beach at the cottage was very mucky and not ideal for swimming/the kids playing in, but that was obviously no fault of the hosts! Stephanie had recommended several local beaches and we found Port Elgin main beach to be one of the nicest beaches we’ve been to :)

Our family had a wonderful stay at Stephanie's cottage. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The location and beaches were ideal, we swam at the cottage beach as well as the other local beaches (Inverhuron and C.A.W beach in Port Elgin)...which are clean, clear, and sandy. The Bruce rail trail runs just east of the cottage and was wonderful for exploring the area by bike. I would highly recommend Stephanie's cottage to anyone looking for a fun family getaway!
