What a gem find! We had a great stay over a long weekend and were so happy with the location! Kathy’s house was perfectly clean, well stocked kitchen, and extra towels ready for the pool and beach! Kathy was easily reachable and communicative before, during, and after our trip - she also prepared baked goods and a welcome basket for us, it was such a lovely touch! We ended up going to the beach (walkable!) instead of using the pool but the house has a nice backyard where I had my morning coffee. The kitchen and family room are huge and adjacent, with plenty room to gather around and watch movies. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great location in Fairfield!

My husband and I had a great stay at Kathy's house. Location: Convenient to beach, train, restaurant, highway and local shops. Accommodations: House was meticulously kept and cleaned. Furnishings are not shiny new but well maintained. Master shower was great! Plenty of water pressure, lot's of hot water with shampoo and conditioners ready to use. My husband loves a lot of towels and this home had plenty of towel available. Kitchen/Family Room: The kitchen is huge for a ranch style home! Drawer style freezers, a Sub Zero fridge/freezer unit and gas cook top. Tons of counter space! - - Family room is very roomy with an oversized leather sectional. Large screen TV's throughout. Exterior: Although we stayed near the end of winter season, you could see that the shrubs and trees were all trimmed and ready to grow in for a beautiful spring/summer season. We will return!

Our family stayed at Kathy's home for a night when we came back to my hometown during a time of bereavement. We found our stay to be comfortable and an easy place to relax and catch a moment of respite. The home is exactly as described and the extra touches were appreciated, such as a basket of snacks and entertainment for the kids in the form of basement games, board games and more. Bedding was comfortable, wifi fast and location can't be beat -- just a moment's drive to Post Road/Rt 1 for Starbucks in the morning and a wide variety of restaurants, plus less than 2 minutes to the beach. Echoing other reviews, Kathy is a superb host. She responds to messages quickly and shows a true sense of caring, both in the upkeep of her spotless home, and in her communications. We so appreciated her genuineness in sending her condolences and offering the flexibility our family needed during a difficult time. We will definitely book with Kathy again.

The second you enter the driveway it feels like home. My friends and I wished we had more time to enjoy the house and all it had to offer! Kathy was a fabulous host and responded to me within minutes each time I reached out to her. Highly recommend this property!!

This place is gorgeous! Right around the corner from everything you’d ever need. Another couple and my boyfriend and I stayed there over a weekend. House was gorgeous, plenty of space for hanging out and cooking! So many cooking supplies/appliances, we cooked every meal! Definitely would recommended for a nice little vacation away from home:)
