We needed a home away from home while we organized and attended our WWII veteran grandpa’s funeral. He was a lifelong resident of Greenwood and staying at this historic home was serene, fun and welcoming! We love the history of this home even before the movie The Help was filmed there it was a family home with many memories there. We will return again and again to Greenwood! Amy is a fabulous host!

Overall we had a good experience with our rental. The pictures need to be updated as one bedroom showed twin beds and it had a queen bed. Owner does not need to advertise that property sleeps 8 as trundle bed listed as 4th bedroom does not have blinds on the windows so light comes in way too early for sleeping in. There needs to be clearer instructions about things such as how to use sound system. New amenities such as soap and shampoo should be provided for guests. There was not a clear line between what was owners and what was to be used by guests. We would recommend it to others if owner made these changes.
