Really great spot to get away from it all. The place is really big. There is easy access to the great western greenway and a number of nice walks. Highly recommend!

Eamonn was friendly and responsive, sending others to quickly fix a slow draining tub and a TV problem. We enjoyed meeting Maria and Declan. The cottage was siimple, but provided all needed accommodations. The cottage was in sight of the northeast side of Clew Bay, with sheep all around. The area was great for walking. I also went on several bike rides, some on the Rockfleet Castle bike loop. I also walked to the Castle. The cottage is about eight kilometers north of Newport. It is remote on narrow roads, but that is its charm. With sheep all around and some cattle, the bay and rolling hills, it is one of the most beautiful places my wife and I have ever stayed.

This was my third stay and it was great as always. It perfectly matches the pictures and description. It seems that the wifi was upgraded recently and works flawlessly. I will keep staying here whenever I need to visit the area and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Located along a single track road in the heart of County Mayo countryside. Only neighbors are the sheep. Perfect for a get-away-from-it-all break. House was warm, clean and had all the amenities one would require. Good enclosed garden for dogs. Very good restaurant only a couple of miles away. Not far from Achill or the National park. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
