The property was well equipt with everything we needed. Pool was a tad on the chilly side but a man added bonus. Well located to explore Glastonbury and Wells. Nice local pub with good food. Would stay again if we were in the area.

The apartment was exceptional and we really enjoyed our stay. The use of the swimming pool was lovely too. The only down side was only one pub to go to in the evening which was quite expensive. Nothing else in walking distance. I would recommend it as a perfect base for sightseeing in the day time.

Such a great find! Always hard finding places child friendly but John’s place was even better than expected with lots of toys to keep little ones entertained. Location was perfect and the local pub, Oakhill Inn, was charming with great service and food. The apartment has a shared pool but we went three times and always had it to ourselves. John was quick to respond when we had a few questions (more user error than anything else) and really keen to help. A gem and would recommend strongly!

We had another great stay, thank you. The place is lovely, clean and spacious - just what we needed. John and Jude are great hosts and fingers crossed, we'll be back again!

We had a family event in Oakhill so were surprised and very happy to find somewhere so close. In fact, I found out a relation used to be the head brewer at this location when it used to be a brewery. Instructions to find the accommodation were clear and it has its own parking. Indoor swimming pool was quiet and 30m from front door. Nice instructions about appliances / check-out were left, with everything required on one page. Lots of extra information provided on further pages to help out. Close to Shepton Mallet which has a good sized supermarket. We didn't take electric car, but there are charging points at the supermarket. The beds were very comfortable. We were so relaxed when we left that I think we left a couple of toothbrushes. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
