Victor Hugo Hotel is located in the northern part of the Malecon (boardwalk), in Puerto Lopez, just steps from the palm covered beach. We conveniently offer restaurant and bar service in house putting together freshly made local, international and vegetarian options for your delight with an amazing ocean view from any seat. Los Frailes beach, located in the Machalilla National Park and the archeological community of Agua Blanca, with its Sulfuric lagoon are only a 20 minute drive from our parking lot, (roundtrip taxi $15 to each destination or $25 to both). The "Muelle Turistico", (Tourist pier) is a 15 minute walk down the beach. On your way there you can stop and stick your toes in the sand at one of the many "Cabañas" and enjoy a fresh coconut or mojito! We offer High Speed Fiber Optic Wifi around the whole property, perfect for those who work online. All of our units have big windows for good airflow and nice natural lighting, plus air conditioning for those hot summer days. Every unit also has its own private bathroom with nearly instant hot water and great pressure for a refreshing shower. The property has many communal spaces including a pool table, book exchange, a view tower, and lots of garden space for your enjoyment.
