This house was great! There were even more additions to the house and outside then when we booked it so that was a nice surprise. The fenced in yard and covered hang out area under the house was the most used and best part for us, having 3 kids under 4 and 3 dogs. The breeze coming off the bay was just right during our 90 degree week, but wasn’t too much to make it cold. Plenty of room downstairs to hang out, cook and eat with our family of 10! Having the neighbor’s boat to rent and have available anytime we wanted was a huge plus for us! Things aren’t walking distance due to the main road being right outside the nieghborhood but everything we needed was no more than 10 mins away, max! Island state park beach was, awesome! Not crazy busy, nice deep clean sand, food, bar and bathrooms right there! The boardwalk is a 7 min easy drive from the house. If you’re bringing small kids or babies, the steps inside are very wide and will not fit a normal sized baby gate. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Jill’s communication was the best of all the AirBnb owners I’ve dealt with. No one word answers, quick and detailed replies. Answered any question I had. If we want to come back to the area and the house is available, we will definitely be renting here again.
