Back in the fall of 2021, my husband and I decided, with our best friends, that we wanted to buy a little piece of paradise. We needed a vacation spot to kick back and relax, and to teach our kids to enjoy the simple things in life—the great outdoors. We found the perfect spot. A few acres of land for the kids to explore, 2 cabins, and a couple fire pits. Since finding this hidden gem that was perfect for our families, we’ve had a blast perfecting our cozy cabins so that we could share our fun with others. We are located just 2 miles from the Bruton Branch Recreational Area, which has primitive camping, a boat ramp, and a playground. It is a great place to fish or enjoy the beauty of the TN River. Just a few minutes away, you’ll find the adorable town of Savannah, TN but if you head back over the dam, you’ll be right at Pickwick Landing State Park. This is where the fun happens. We are less than 15 min away from either place, but right in the middle of the woods. Tons of wildlife here too—You’ll see birds, raccoons, foxes, even deer right in the yard. We’ve got hummingbirds in the warm months.
