Great space for a relaxing weekend! There were some extras in the kitchen which was a pleasant surprise since we ate in the whole trip, so that got us started with some groceries. The grocery store and town isn’t far away and was easy to get to for whatever we needed. The indoor space is cozy (smaller bedrooms), but there’s plenty of outdoor area to make up for it—the fire pit table was nice to hang out by on the deck in the evenings! We happened to be there a week that the restaurant next door was closed, so it may have been even a bit more quiet than usual. That was fine for us, though we hoped to grab dinner there one night… maybe next time. 🙂

The cabin is as described. The lake was beautiful and fishing was decent despite the 90 degree temperatures.

Kevin's place was great. it worked perfectly for our family of 4, including 2 young kiddos and a dog. plenty of beauty, walking, eating and fishing to be found directly near the lake or very closeby. the fishing and swimming in the lake were both superb! Kevin was very attentive, extremely helpful and thorough in all explanations. his place was clean and seemed to have all the amenities one would hope for. know that this property is not directly on the lake, it is up a steep hill, but only a short walk to the boat pier and the beach, which also has sand toys. there is a view of the lake from the cottage. we had a lovely time!

It’s was a very nice peaceful stay, Kevin is very friendly and knowledgeable about fishing on the lake. It was an enjoyable get away in the north woods.

What a relaxing and enjoyable experience! As per our ratings everything was first class! Kevin’s responsiveness was superb before during and after our stay. The cottage was super clean and well stocked with anything you might need or forgot at home! The lake was beautiful - quiet - and full of fish! We caught a ton and had tons of fun out there. The boat Kevin has available was easy to use and reliable - and again, we’ll stocked with what you need for bagging the fish! Can’t forget to mention that the location/area is beautiful- lots of things to do nearby. Enjoy the hustle bustle of Minocqua (check out the zoo!) and then return to peace and quiet! The supper club Besse’s across the road has excellent food and service! Thanks Kevin, we’ll be back soon!
