Lovro Kuščević, who is the owner of the place, could not have been a better or more attentive host. Marjan handled all of the pre-trip logistics and responded quickly, efficiently dealing with our questions. This is a slice of heaven. It was everything we had hoped. Secluded, peaceful and incredibly beautiful. We spent most of the time outdoors (second kitchen, dinner table, BBQ, sunbeds, hammock, great shade, swimming pool - the walk down to the private beach takes half a minute). We had snorkeling stuff, SUP boards, a rowboat and even a fishing rod! Inside was cozy and comfortable (but we only really slept inside). Lovro went above and beyond. He took us for a boat ride to some interesting spots; made us fish soup and a fish BBQ (catch from the previous night); gave us plenty of advice on places to visit and eat; was always available. An amazing host! We fell in love with his cats, Mimi and Panda. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!!

The owner Lovre is a legend. He was a brilliant host. There is nothing he could not help us with - he knows Brac and most of the people there. We had the best time! We highly recommend for a relaxing week away but getting a taste of Croatian hospitality and culture.

We spent 10 days in paradise on earth !❤️, Thanks to host Lovro. The Old Captain House is real authentic off grid living with electricity being supplied by Photovoltaic Panels and hot water from Solar Heating. During the initial booking Marjan responded to all our questions within a very short time. On our arrival Lovro welcomed us and showed us around the house and he was very friendly and straightforward which allowed us to relax immediately, for the start of our holiday. The house is a gem and was furnished by the owner with a lot of taste and sense of the special in elegant maritime style; you can feel the attention to detail in the house, which was also perfectly clean. The kitchen left nothing to be desired with regard to the equipment and we were even welcomed with a filled fridge! Personally we spent the 10 days using the large outdoor kitchen with barbecue and great stone table as well as sun loungers which made the vacation feel perfect. The access to the small private bay directly under the house is extra special - taking a "short" swim in the sea at any time of the day was so relaxing, as beginner Stand up Paddle Boarders the small bay is calm and ideal to play around. The house is quietly located in the middle of nature overlooking the sea and you can enjoy absolute tranquillity. At night you can only hear the wind, the sound of the sea and the chirping of the crickets, so you can relax and sleep wonderfully. Milna with its harbour promenade, restaurants, cafes and supermarket can be reached by car in about 15 to 20 minutes, which was perfect for us to enjoy the seclusion and silence while being provided with everything if needed. Thank you for an unbelievable holiday which we will remember for a long time.
