What a fantastic stay we had at Evelyn's place. The fantastically renovated homestead full of history but also the comforts of home provided us with the perfect place to stay and base ourselves for our trip in the Flinders. Well located for day trips to wilpena pound and surrounding areas with great drives and views everywhere you look. The wildlife just outside our door kept us on our toes as we never knew what we would see. Finally the firepit was a perfect place for us have dinner, marshmallows and a stargazing session to end our trip.

Our stay at Windee Hill was amazing. The homestead, the location, everything about it was charming and peaceful. The house has plenty of room to spread out, and it is one of the most private and peaceful locations we have ever stayed. Evelyn is a super host and really responsive to our queries. This is a perfect spot for exploring the Flinders Ranges and the local towns, we cannot wait to come back! And an added bonus that Windee Hill is doggo friendly, our boy loved his trip too. Thank you for a wonderful stay Evelyn.

Thank You so much Evelyn & Family for all the hard work and efforts putting all the very special thoughtful touches into this beautiful homestead! We all (as a family) had such a wonderful time making special memories that will last forever in our hearts :). We had a wonderful family reunion & we loved everything about this place, from the beautifully decorated rooms; very well stocked & everything we needed was here; it's so lovely and quiet, very private; the history of this place & photos displayed were fascinating; the kitchen I loved and was a joy to cook in, it is the heart of the home; the stunning sunsets & sunrises; the quaint gardens, flowers, fruit trees, birds, lizards, emus & kangaroos every morning and afternoon were a delight! The Windee Hill Homestead is so homely, pure peace and tranquility enjoyed by us all. :)

Evelyn's Place was very beautiful, the homestead was immaculate, and the property was exactly what we were looking for. Would recommend the property to anyone wanting to get away from the city hustle and bustle, and wanting to get away to the absolute serenity of the homestead. We would recommend Evelyn's to both families and couples, needing a bit of a break. and breathing the air. Thank you so much for hosting us. :)
