We had a great vacation. The house was clean and exactly as pictures. we had one issue that was handled promptly and taken care of quickly. Highly recommend any locations being Rented by Tom! Very quick to respond and professional.
The house was rented for 14 people, for 10 days. There were only two rolls of toilet paper and two towels per bathroom. This is an absurd thing for the number of people and days. The dishwasher did not work, the living room carpet had a very unpleasant smell. The house needs cleaning. The person who rented it to us was very kind and fulfilled their part of the job.
We stayed at Witt's Cove for 4 nights for a family Thanksgiving. Overall the place was very clean, other than the carpet stains which can be expected with a rental home. The living room furniture is broken- 1 couch doesn't have a back support at all, just pillows against the wall. The fireplace would not turn on. Someone came and lit it, but it only stayed on about 15 minutes, then unable to start again. So it went unused which was a bummer. The 5th bedroom is a loft bedroom within another bedroom with very steep stairs. The bedroom went unused during our time as no-one could climb the steep stairs, especially at night. The only thing in the loft bedroom is a full size bed, no closets or place to put clothes Parking is a challenge. My brother had to pay $75 to have his car towed out due to the steep gravel incline. There are extra fees. After booking through Airbnb, Tom sent us a bill to purchase separate renter's insurance which we declined. The firewood is $50 & trash fines of $50
Our group had a last-second adjustment due to another cancellation and Tom was extremely helpful and accommodating to help us out. Beautiful house and area for a large group.
House good and clean and was as pictures show. parking poor, once parked only could get front car out due to neighbors sharing driveway. Dock access very dangerous- have to jump from big rock to dock- not accessible at all for older or young children/infants. Do not rent watercraft from owner- poor quality and service. Jet ski broke down even before leaving marina where we picked them up at and 2nd one broke down in middle of lake. We have yet to receive a refund.

My family and I live full-time and Greater Cincinnati, but whether enjoying our own house there at the lake, introducing people to Norris for the first time or swapping stories with long time lovers of this incredible place cradled in the Cumberland mountain valley - Tennessee is our favorite getaway.
