We chose here for a ‘stay-Cay’ where I wanted to kayak and ride our bikes everywhere. That’s exactly what we did. The Penguin Island Capricorn tours were 3 minutes walk away. As is the ferry of you just want to go over snorkel and walk without guides. The area is very flat. So easy to ride everywhere. And beautiful coastline and beaches. The house is like a grandmas house. Don’t expect fancy new or modern furniture. But it was clean and set us back to the 70’s. There was a smokers odour but it was ok after a while. All the amenities you need. Missing a Nesspresso machine though. Just instant coffee offered , but that suits the 70’s vibe! Comfy beds and we slept well. Lots of hot water and clean towels. It’s not right next to rockingham town but if you have a car it’s 2 minutes if you just have bikes it’s 20. And 20 Mins ride from the Rockingham train station. Bus stop outside that took you everywhere and a super market two roads over.
